Our Story

Lucy Teller is an Americana-Folk singer/songwriter from Cincinnati, Ohio.  She draws influence for her music from a variety of artists including Dawes, Gillian Welch, and Amos Lee.

Teller taught herself guitar at the age of thirteen and soon after that began writing songs.  At the age of sixteen Teller started guitar lessons with Rick Hayes, a member of the bluegrass band Nightflyer and producer of Hayes Productions Recording Studio.  After he began teaching her, Hayes discovered that Teller was a songwriter and that she wanted to record her own music.  Teller soon began recording at his studio.

In October of 2015, Teller released her debut EP- Lucy Teller.  The EP features four original songs and one cover of an Amos Lee song.

Lucy Teller is based both in Cincinnati and in Irving, Texas.
